Dealers, agents and riders continuously convey that there is a shortage on quality horses available to buy on the global market. This second edition MRBG sale presents a collection of Show Jumping, Eventing and Traditional Irish Bred foals specifically selected based on breeding and performance criteria to meet these market requirements and demands.

Apart from providing a sales platform for the breeder this is a social event for the industry where breeders, stallion owners, organisations, governing bodies and product and service providers can meet and engage with one another. The benefits to the breeder are many as they will meet the marketplace face to face, gain knowledge and feedback from customers which should in-turn be redeployed into their breeding programs raising the bar on quality and improving best practice in careful mare and stallion selection relevant to their breeding goals.

Contract Rearing

Mayo Roscommon Breeders Group offers a ‘Foal to Three-Year-Old’ rearing facility, where the breeder contracts with the new owner to rear the young sport horse until it is three years of age.
