The Showjumping Ireland National Pony & Young Rider Championships takes place this year at Mullingar Equestrian Centre, from the 25th-28th August 2016. Robert and all the team here at Mulingar Equestrian Centre look forward to welcoming the SJI and all our young Showjumping talent and their supporters to Mullingar.

There will be five showjumping arenas in operation with over 500 ponies stabled on-site and many more in the Mullingar area.

There will be a range of on-site catering from coffee and café shops to the marquee restaurant provided by David Smyth catering. A new feature at Mullingar Equestrian will be the Pizza and Wine bar looking onto the International Grass arena.

There will be no end of entertainment for young and not so young at the championships. There will be a range of activities from bouncing castles to organised soccer matches. An onsite cinema will have three screenings daily. The pony and young riders will have an opportunity to enter the infamous Mullingar Equestrian Human Puissance with qualifiers on Thursday and Friday and the final on Saturday evening.

Attention all talented young show jumpers, apart from your riding skills, can you sing, dance or do a trick? Well show your talent and enter “Showjumpers Got Talent” at the Championships, qualifiers will be on Thursday and Friday with the final on Saturday and the opportunity to win a cash prize. Each evening will close with junior and senior discos.
